The Ministry Structure of the Lord's Church

When our Lord, Jesus Christ, lived upon the earth, He was very clear in His purpose to help His fellow men.  The sick, the poor, the ignorant and the lost were all served by the Lord.  This was ministry - service to others. It involved teaching spiritual principles but also involved compassionate physical care.

As the body of Christ, the Church must exemplify the same kind of concern for those around us. We must live the life of Christ in the present the same way that He lived in the past. We must accomplish ministry in order to fulfill the life of Christ.  This is why we have designed the ministries and support groups of the Kings Church of Christ. Every member is asked to be an active participant in one to two of these ministries. When this happens, three benefits arise. First, the participating member is able to fulfill a life of service in God's kingdom. Second, the body is built up to resemble Jesus Christ. Third, the Church, as well as the community of which it is a part is ministered to.

By the help of God, we can reach the goal of ministry together.  We can be the salt and light of the world in our community.
