Gerald Jason Walker is the Music Minister at Kings Church of Christ in Brooklyn, NY
He hails from Chicago, Ill. and is the son of Gerald and Deborah Walker.  Jason got his start singing at the 87th Street Church of Christ in Chicago where his grandfather, William E. Jones, Sr. and his father ministered.  Being a member of a singing family, he was taught the discipline of music at an early age.  At the age of 8, he was blessed to sing alongside his family and friends in the "United Chorus", and later the "United Quintet".  Afterwards, he decided to venture out, singing with several groups throughout the Chicagoland area.

Jason first recorded with the "United Quintet" at the age of 12 . His solo recording has blossomed, being a featured soloist on several recordings.

In 2005, Jason left Chicago for Southwestern Christian College.  He sung in the world renowned "A Cappella Chorus" there, as well as serving as student music director for "Testimony", "Summer Tour" and the Chorus. While there, he wrote and arranged songs such as "Jesus is Coming Soon", "My Life", "God Will Provide" and "Come Unto Me" just to name a few.  In 2011, he began assisting as music director and sound engineer for  Summer Tour '11 and '12,  volunteering his time, thus, furthering his musical skills in writing and directing.

After Southwestern, Jason fulfilled a lifetime dream of traveling and singing with one of his favorite a cappella groups, "Straight Company".  He has been a member of Straight Company since 2009.
For awhile, Jason was blessed to be a member of Dallas, Texas', Light of the World Church of Christ's "Dream Team" ensemble in which he was mentored by Music Minister, Dwayne Pugh.

Furthermore, Jason has produced a solo project entitled "My Life", that has eight spirit-filled songs he arranged and composed.

Jason married the love of his life Amy on Valentine's Day of 2011.
Jason is a proud son, a great husband and now a dedicated servant at the
Kings Church of Christ.
